What compiler do we use to write J2ME code in (like Jbuilder)? Or do we just use a notepad and compile using command prompts??

The compiler is the exact same. J2SE, J2EE, and J2ME all use javac. It is waht jars you have in your classpath that really makes the difference.

If you get the Wireless Toolkit from Sun, all the .jar files that you would need in your classpath are in the lib directory.
