I have a j2me network application that up until a couple of months ago worked perfectly. Now I get a http 403 error code every time I connect up to my server. This happens using both WTK104 or my treo 600. I have a number of other servlets within the same web application that work correctly that are accessed from java thick clients. No problem there only with my j2me phone apps. No exceptions are thrown catalina log so I am really confused.

Stupid questions, but what has changed? What is different? Not necessarily in code, but what about files, or moving the server, or anything that might seem like it would have no affect.

Is there a file or Servlet mispelled?

I guess i was not very clear. None of my code has changed either my servlets, j2me apps, java apps or my web.xml configuration. My web host provider claims that nothing is wrong. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen that problem before. Where only the j2me applications get a http 403 error code

. Well, something has changed. It was working and now it is not. That in itself is a change.

I know it might seem like nothing has changed. But maybe the URL is no longer mapped to the right IP address. Maybe they changed the IP address on the server at your ISP. But something was changed.

Good Luck
