Incoming call blocker how to

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hello everyone,
Does J2ME have any kind of function that gets incoming calls.
My intention is to greate a midlet that would check incoming calls and varify them to the list of numbers saved in RMS. If the number is in the memory then it would not make an alert.

Regards,
Jukka

Highly doubt it. You are trying to interfere with the basic functionality of the phone that has nothing to do with J2ME. J2ME security will not allow any access ot the functionality fo the phone itself.

Basically, here is the security breach. You create this phone call filter, and put nothing in the RMS. then don't allow anything to be put into the RMS. Now the consumer's phone will never get any phone calls and get the consumer very angry that they can't get their calls.

Brace yourself while corporate america tries to sell us its things. Some day they will chill and use tiny ads.
