i need to develop a PDA application using Java, but i'm quite lost? can anyone tell me how to use a CLDC and a MIDP? do i need to install CLDC or don't need to install? can anyone let me know the steps of using the CLDC and MIDP to run on the PDA? how to run on the simulator?

which I think is exactly what you are looking for. I think it is quite an old article but it seems to explain the very basics.
