Sun's Website has a list, but it is a little outdated. Meaning some new phone models might be missing.

I collect the User Agents that visit my site at SprintDevelopers. Sprint phones include a URL to an RDF file with specs about each model. It's hard to explain, but look here:

http://www.sprintdevelopers.com/modules.php?name=Uploader&file=models

Now click on any of the "RDF" links. For example, try the Samsung A800. You'll see that it's MIDP 2.0 and it has a camera. I don't think Sprint phones use the MMAPI JSR but there are certainly Sprint specific APIs for capturing camera images from with a MIDlet.

I think all MIDP implementations support HTTP communications so uploading/downloading shouldn't be a problem.

J2ME Polish has a good xml document with lots of phones and device functionality, it is always kept up to date, but you do have to read XML, so using a tool like XMLSpy makes it easier to read.
