Hi Developers!

Does anyone have an idea how could I develop applications to Sony Ericsson's K750i under Linux? Unfortunately Sony Ericsson only provides the SDK for Windows.

I am using Eclipse and EclipseMe. I tried to arrange files extracted from SE SDK manually and also edited some config files... Now the emulator starts with K750 skin, my older projects (standard MIDP1.0 without any device specific calls) run fine in it, and sample applications (one uses the SE camera api) compiles without error. However, after uploading deployed apps to the phone, it will say "Invalid application".

Az Eclipse shows "... Sony Ericsson K750 (Emulation) ..." when I select profile, I suppose there are two set of classes in the SDK, one with "fake" APIs for the emulator, and one with valid ones for compiling them for the real device, but I couldn't find out how to handle them, if this is the case.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian
