Or is it their full time job to keep Javaranch a well oiled machine?

None of us get paid. We all donate time, smarts, code, knowledge, graphic art, sass, even cold hard cash to help keep the site running.

I'm too modest to mention how really, really good-looking I am.

And if you're really, really bad, you have to carry on a 47-post thread with me.

Na, Joe, that's when you are simply bad. When you are really, really bad, you have to carry on a thread with *me*.

Well, given the length of some of our threads together, I guess that means we've been very, very, VERY bad!

I believe that there's an Irish saying along the lines of "a thousand welcomes", so I'd like to apply a slight change and

wish all those involved with Javaranch "a thousand thank-yous" to each and everyone of you on behalf of all Javaranch users

(hopefully the other users won't mind me acting on their behalf!).
All the best,
Kate!!
