Help me understand itemStateListener

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

I'm building a blackberry application, I don' really enjoy the IDE of research in motion so I used netBean and java wireless toolkit 2.3 Beta for debug, everything run fine on it.

Now I move my code to the BlackBerry JDE to be able to compile in the RIM format. I'm getting problem when I refill combo after updating my recordstore the message is about the field being already parented, I guess java toolkit handle it while blackberry don't.

How does ItemStateListener work when I have multiple form in my application ? How do I 'unregister' it from a form to set it on a new one ?

Thanks or any tips and hint!

Hi,

Just a long shot here, but this is what the documentation says:

So i guess if you pass one form null then it will remove its item listener and then pass it to the new form.

Helped?

Well when I do that, and set it on the second form, it doesn't trigger ItemStatchanged.

seem quite complete. Will probably allow me to pin point my mistake.

Just for information.

Actually everything was working well, under the Blackberry 4.0 + software (not sure about 3.x)there a bug on the choicegroup.popup not triggering events.
