how to communicate between a emulator and bluetooth enabled device

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,
I've been developing a bluetooth application wherein i need to communicate between 2 bluetooth enabled device, one of them being a mobile phone. My problem is that in order to test the application i need to deploy the application always on a mobile phone to test for its functionality and also i find it hard to trace the flow and debug.
I would like to know whether is it possible to simulate the mobile phone functionality on an emulator and communicate between an emulator and the bluetooth device. I have been using Netbeans4.1 and WTK2.3 in my development environment.
Is it possible to use a bluetooth dongle for the said purpose, if so how can i make use of it.

Yes, it is fun.

1. Unfortunately, we can't have the emulator communicate with a real device.
2. Just run the emulator twice. That is what we did with the Wireless Toolkit, the emulator will simulate the bluetooth connection for you. It works. Actually proobably work on the emulator and not on the devices.

That is the big problem with J2ME is that the device manufacturers don't necessarily implement the specification as it was intedned. There is too much interpretation done.

Good Luck.
