Hi Everyone,

I am looking to port my j2me app on various j2me phones. Started my development on Series 40 devices. Now looking at motorola phones.
After some extensive study, i realized motorola phones are generally not j2me app PC download enabled. Moto phones have to be sent to Motorola to get it enabled.

So just wondering is there any motorola j2me phone which is by default enabled for PC download of j2me apps?

Secondly, i would like to confirm if i just need MIDWay tool, to buy USB cable and its driver to download j2me apps from PC to moto phones? Do i need to purchase any other tool?

regards,
-nins

Hi

What I use when transfering mobile applications on my old V180 Motorola phone is a USB cable, a suitable USB driver for my Windows OS and Motorola MIDway. The first time I did such a transfer, I had to enable my Java App Loader for which I think I used XVI32 to edit the hexa file.
