J2ME or J2EE

Hi all,
Please tell me what is better as far as future is concerned J2EE or J2ME.

Kind of a tough question. But there is probably more J2EE development going on, mainly because is many "enterprise" J2ME applications will also use J2EE, whereas, J2EE applications are used for Web and other tiered architectures not necessarily with J2ME.

As far the future, both are bright.

Depends on how you see the future. Actually both will be extremely important and not so much one over the other. J2ME will evolve to better handle peripheral devices that are low on processing power and bandwith constraints. J2EE will evolve to better handle heterogenous networks and provide platform independent application functionality. You cant have the future with out either of these.
If wireless is the future though then J2ME, howevever, J2EE will be needed to provide true end to end application functionality via the network.
