ok. what is the use of "destroyApp(false);" ?

If the AMS feels like providing a chance for the MIDlet to protest against destroying the MIDlet, then it invokes destroyApp(false).

If the AMS wants to outright detroy the MIDlet without giving it a chance, then it invokes destroyApp(true) in which case, a MIDletStateChangeException thrown by the MIDlet in the destroyApp method will not have any effect :-)
