application to access the information stored in memory

Hi

But ,I have to write an application to access the
information stored in mobile device(nokia3100)
such as address book or any other part of memory
but PIM api is not supported by the device
is there any alternative means so that i can
access the inforamtion stored on the device

reply as soon as possible its urgent

You might look here at Nokia's own documentation regarding the 3100. If they have their own API for browsing the phone book, you'll find it there.

A brief glance at the information doesn't show anything that looks like it supports JSR-75 or implements something similar, so you might be out of luck, but admittedly I didn't look too deeply.

Why haven't you changed your display name, or at least responded to my request. You sign your posts with a different name.

Your only other choice is to go OS level and skip J2ME. So if you write it in C.
