How to automatize tests inside emulator

I've got a general question about testing menu-based midlets inside an emulator. Consider a pure menu based midlet running on the emulator. Now I want to automate the keypressing to browse/click through the menus. Meaning I don't want to use my mouse or keyboard, but I want my PC to do it, according some scripts.

Off course I also don't want to check the content of the display with my eyes
manually - I want my PC to do it for me.

Does anybody has an idea how this can be realized - or is there already a tool

Many thanks,
