What do I need to know to start developing web apps with J2ME?

Hi guys, I'm currently researching what are the things I need to know to start developing web applications (with J2ME) that's to be accessed by mobile phones.I'm really still a beginner with regards to J2ME, so I would really appreciate any tips you could give.

You can use the wireless toolkit to develop applications in J2ME. Its not the only one around but its supported by sun and you can download it from java.sun.com

Well J2ME creates Mobile Phone applications, not Web Applications. J2ME can use an HTTPConnection to connect to a Servlet, but I wouldn't really call that a Web Application. If you want Web Pages to be displayed in a Mobile Device, then you don't even need J2ME, just use a nice Browser and write your Web Application with Servlets/JSP and have the stuff return either WML or html that is formatted to look better on a mobile device.
