Hello guys,

I'm quite experienced with Java and wish start some proj in J2ME...

I Have a Nokia 6600(Which supports J2ME MIDP 2) I wish to develope some application that simply intercepts the messages that are received on the mobile phone so that instead of going into the inbox they are displayed in my app.

Can someone tell me what all i'll need to get started.

Is Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.2 enough or there is anything else that i shall need. Also if there is some site that teaches java programming for the symbian phones(particularly NOKIA) please mention it...

Thanks...

I doubt you will be able to intercept all the messages sent to your phone. J2ME has a very strict security manager and won't let J2ME applications mess up a phone.
