hi..

i had encountered a problem in the bluetooth connection for j2me..

i'm using the "L2CAP" to implement the bluetooth connection between two mobile devices..

problem:
an error occured when i wanted to start the server again when i had already closed the previous server bluetooth connection but not closing the application.

error message:
java.io.IOException SymbianOS error = -14: General: Already in use

thanks in advance..

It looks like you are trying to use the same port before fully closing the port the server is listening on. Why do you want to close the server port and then open it again ?

John Meyers, thanks for your reply..

there is a form(menu) which allows the user to select either "HOST THE SERVER" or "CONNECT TO SERVER".. when the user click on the "HOST THE SERVER" option.. the screen will appear "waiting for devices".. if the user click "back" option to e form(menu) while waiting for devices.. the server bluetooth connection have to be close before the user select "HOST THE SERVER" again.. that is why I closed the server bluetooth connection..

Thanks in advance.. =)
