Hi everybody,

I am developing midlet and I want to make it a nice UI with color background form like what j2me polish could do. Do you know how to create custom item that can replace the default j2me item like form, list...so that we can set the background color, tittle..ect (withou using j2me polish since it costs too much)

Thank you very much.

hi bro,

I am answering this with the theory knowledge i have on the UI...

I dont think there is a way to do it...
Because Form / List basically whatever that is extending Screen class belongs to the highlevel UI...

For the Hight Level UI, spec say that the developer doesnt have the control over the appearance..

You might need the Canvas(Low Level UI) to have a better control over look and feel.....

There is something called Custom Items as well ..but i dont have depth knowledge about it..

If you come across some method please let us also know
