But i really dont have a clear idea except for it makes the look and feel good...

Can some tell me a little more about it....

Will work on any phone that supports CLDC and MIDP...

Well, this j2me polish provides pretty good GUI for out midlet. It supports midp1 and midp2, together with cldc1.0 and 1.1 as well. You can use j2me polish to generate midlet for specific devices as well. Besides that, this j2me polish has some utility tools like localization of logging framework which is quite useful as well. The other features I have not studied them deeply, so can't tell you.

However, remember that this j2me polish is commercial framework, and it costs 990euro for single license, quite expensive. So you can use for testing, but for enterprise product, you have to consider.

The idea is that it makes doing a pretty GUI easier, consistent across different devices, and adds back in Java SE features that aren't part of Java ME. Basically, through the use of their API and a few tricks in the compile process, it lets you build for multiple devices with different capabilities, supporting only the capabilities of each device, while having a good-looking app without the headaches of trying to keep each device's idiosyncrasies straight.

The new version that's coming out adds in a few more things, like emulated support for Java SE 5.0 features such as generics. Haven't taken a look at it yet myself, but it could be interesting.
