Hi,

I'm using the platformRequest method in my application to open a web page stored in my phone's memory, i sent the page's full path to this method and it has thrown an exception.

The problem is that it's working when opening a file on a server, but for my case i want to open a file which is already stored in my phone's memory, can anybody tell me how can this be done ?

Thanks in advance ...

Well, trying it with the URL format "file://..." would be the obvious thing to do.

However if you google for "file:// platformrequest" together, you'll find a number of people already had your problem and the "file://" thing or any other did not work (nor any other apparently).

Try using 'file://...' anyway ... perhaps you're in a lot of luck and it works on your target device

Hi,

I did use the file:/// stuff and it did not work.

As a matter of fact, my memory card's name is e: so I'm using the following:

file:///e:/web/page.html and it's not working, an exception is thrown!!!

Any alternative solutions ?

Thanks for your efforts Eduardo
