i am relatively new to Eclipse based development...

can someone tell as to how i can integrate MTJ(Mobile Tools for Java) into Eclipse by using this link http://www.eclipse.org/dsdp/mtj/ (With the Update Manager in Eclipse)

But couldnt be successful...

So can someone help me in this...

and also Whats EclipseME and i doubt that this has a connection with MTJ

Hi Marques,

thanks for the reply...

but in that site it says that EclipseME is about integrating the WTK with Eclipse...

But how do i get the MTJ itself into the Eclipse....

I think MTJ is a must prior to any j2me development in Eclipse environment....

I hope my assumptions are correct...

You can use Eclipse ME for J2ME development
without MTJ, just make sure WTK is also installed
(Eclipse ME fetches JARs and invokes programs from WTK).
To my knowledge, there is no relation between MTJ and Eclipse ME,
both seem to have similar intents (IDE for J2ME development).

Not sure what your needs/questions are, but my point was just that Eclipse ME may be alternative to MTJ and unless you really need to use MTJ, it should be a good one.

Eclipse ME has been around for a longer time and is possibly more mature than MTJ. I haven't used MTJ though yet.
