start application when a mobile is swithced on

Hi,

Is there any standard package or class in java micro edition that will allow me to start an application on the mobile when a mobile is switched on.

If anybody has a link that could help me please do post here!

to my knowledge i dont think this is possible yet

Using the Push Registry you can think of starting a MIDlet in response to an inbound connection (eg SMS message, TCP/IP connection) or at a schedule time using PR alarms.

Start-up and background MIDlets seem to be ideas for MIDP 3 still in draft.
