Hi ranchers!
I am trying to send some text to a bluetooth printer from a MIDlet I have installed in a Sony Ericsson Z1010 and am getting "The protocol requested does not exits." Here is a section of my code

The exception is caught and the Alert object, 'errorAlert', displays the error: The requested protocol does not exist btspp://0060570118BF:1;authenticate=false;encrypt=false;master=true.
Is it the phone or my code that is deficient.
Regards.

If the exception is ConnectionNotFoundException, that may mean that you can't make a Bluetooth connection in J2ME for that device, even if the device does
actually have a Bluetooth interface.

If the problem is related to the Bluetooth connection setup, see http://www.hcilab.org/documents/tutorials/BT_GPS/BT_GPS.htm for some Bluetooth sample access code in J2ME. Hope it helps.

Cheers
