Hi
1. Is there any method to read a file(text or image) which is stored in a mobile device using javaME?
2. Is there any way to get the path of a file which is saved in a mobile phone?

If I was a really industrious person, I'd go check the J2ME javadocs and see how much, if any java.io.File capabilities are in it. And if not, look for possible JSRs that extended it.

But I'm lazy, so all I can do is note that not all devices have file systems. The Palm OS, for one, uses a set of databases instead of files. For that reason, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Hey Uditha,

Well I can suggest you PIM. JSR-075.

It might help you. But remember not all phones are supporting PIM.

good luck
