This week's book giveaway is in the Android forum. We're giving away four copies of Android Programming: The Big Nerd Ranch Guide and have Bill Phillips & Chris Stewart on-line! See this thread for details.
hey guys, I've got a smal problem in my code here and was hoping one of you could spot it. It could be one of two things it's either the pim method where i'm doing something wrong or the thread in which it runs.
I'm being lazy and not actually looking at the code too closely, but an OutOfMemoryError is frequently caused by one of 2 things:
1. Infinite recursive calls
2. "Ping-pong" calls where code A posts an immediate (un-queued) event to code B, which invokes code A, which posts to code B and so forth. Which is just infinite recursion in cahoots with the event manager.
An IDE is no substitute for an Intelligent Developer.
