New to JME

Hello Mobile rancher,
Here I am new to JME I am using Netbeans visual mobility Designer, but my challenge is how to handle the values of my textboxes. For example i want to move fro on form(displayable) to another(displayable), but getting the values of the previous displayable textboxes is a problem.
Please help me out.

If your textbox has been created as MIDlet instance field it'll be available anywhere inside your MIDlet class.

NB Visual MIDlet designer creates lazy initialization getters for items.
When you handle the command event that moves you from one for to another you have the chance to get values from your current form and transfer them to your next form.

Suppose you have:
form1 containing textField1 and form2 containing textField2

On visual double click the arrow that connects form1 to form2 - you'll be placed inside source code block that handles the navigation command event.
That's where you should type:
