I am not sure if this question fits in this forum or not. But then I am looking for ways I can stream a video in Mozilla using a player like vlc. any pointers will be highly appreciated.

I am trying to use javascript in my code but some not able to display the video in the browser. Here is the code I call in onLoad of the html body tag.

function load(){
var options = new Array(":rtsp-caching=100");
var elem = document.getElementById("vlc");
elem.playlist.add("file:///C:/Users/padmanabh/Butterfly.wma", "live", options);
elem.playlist.play();
}
