Process and thread IDs are considered to be platform-specific concepts, so Java does not give you access to them.
If you are working on only specific platforms, you might be able to write native code to find process and/or thread IDs, and access this native code with JNI.
Threads do have names in Java. However, the thread name is not necessarily connected to any attribute of a native thread.
