Hello. I am about to start a theorical investigation and benchmark. I was thinking about comparing performance in running threads using the Linux pthread.h vs using a Java application that does the same.

Do you think this is a possible investigation? If so, could someone tell me some tips on what I could make and where I should start?

If you don't think this is a good topic, do you think there's something similar I could focus on?
