hi!
i have a jsp, say jsp1 that creates an instance of a Thread class to be used on the next jsp, jsp2.. the application currently applies the struts framework.. and it seems like that after instatiating the Thread in the jsp1, the thread never reaches jsp2.. any ideas on how i might be able to use my thread instance on the next page?
many thanks!

Maybe look at a thread pool?
I question why you are using threads in the first place. A web application is already multi-threaded (the web server handles each request in its own thread). Do you start some long-lived task while returning something immediately to the user?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
