Hi,

I have written one stand alone java program which will create two threads running infinitely which are non-Daemon threads. But i could able to see only one java.exe(JVM)running for both the threads soon after the control comes out of the main program,Why is this happening can anybody clear my doubt please,

Welcome to the JavaRanch.
What are you using to view the threads? If you are using Windows Task Manager, it will only report the process, not the individual threads within a process. To view the individual threads you need a tool like Process Explorer.

Maybe one of those javaw.exe was Eclipse itself!

Windows Task Manager can optionally show the number of threads in every process. Go to View-SelectColumns.
