hi,
if two instances of a same browser are created how many virtual machines are created.
IMO i think it is 1.
but is this true?

You are correct, there is only one virtual machine created even if you open multiple browser windows.
HOWEVER, say you have two installations of say Netscape. You install Netscape 4.7 and 6.0. Then, if you open up one of each of these installations you will definately have TWO separte VMs running.
But again, if you're only running 4.7 and open two instances of this browsers you only have one VM running.
