Hi
How can I get the handle of an image that represent the applet. Basically I am drawing a graph in an applet. The applet contains a Canvas where the drawing is done. After the drawing is completed (paint method) how do I convert the applet which has a canvas to an image.
Is there anyway that i can do?
Thanks a bunch
Chandar

Hey,
No disrespect, but if I understand you correct, you can't do what you're trying to do. If you ar just trying to graph something on a canvas, that's fine. The things to keep in mind are that when you repaint() it calls update() [behind the scenes] and that erases the screen. Thn, the next time you paint it woul paint the next point and so on. However, if you override update() and just call paint(g), you won't have the erasing. Hope that helps.
