You can't directly communicate between them, as the ASP page writes the HTML page the applet will be on then sends it to the browser, and then the applet starts.
You could write the PARAM tags with ASP, to give the applet some data, eg.
Response.Write( "<APPLET NAME=myApplet..." )
Response.Write( "PARAM NAME=param1 VALUE=" & var1 )
I'm not sure if you can easily write to a form in the HTML from your applet, if you can you could pass information to an ASP that way. One thing you could do is have some javascript get data from the applet and put it into hidden form fields, at a certain time or when some event happens.
Sub form1_onSubmit()
form1.field1.value = myApplet.getData1()
form1.field2.value = myApplet.getData2()
Hope that helps
(P.S. that syntax might not be exactly right, I can't remember)
