Hi, what does Applet.setStub() do? What is an AppletStub?

A stub is a link between the applet and the browser.
The applet does not explicitly call this interface as it is
normally used by the run-time system for connecting the
applet and the browser
Hope this helps. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Regards
Suneel

Thank you. I am learning this strange example that implements AppletStub and also calls addNotify() from a Frame object(API says do not call addNotify() directly).

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
