I have an interesting problem in which I do not no how to solve. I am developing an applet and I need it to work in both IE and Netscape. IE is working 100%, but Netscape isn't working because the sleep isn't being interrupted. I am using Java 1.2, IE 5.05 and Netscape 4.75.
I am using the following to interrupt the sleep. t.interrupt();
For example purposes in IE I get a message "Successfully Interrupted...", but Netscape never gets the message. Any suggestions?
try{
t.sleep(3000);
} catch (InterruptedException e){
System.out.println("Successfully Interrupted...");
}
Thanks in advance,
Charles
