JBuilder is a swing componet, right?
IE and Netscape currently don't support some advanced java features, such as swing, unless you download a plug-in.
I beleive the plug-ins are on the Sun site, but I don't know for sure...

Hi
I had similar Problem
None of my Applets ran in the Browser window.
However I managed to get it running only after I formatted the whole disk and installed all my Programs again .
But it would seem like firing a canon when you need a knife .
..:-)

JBuilder is an IDE, not a swing component.

Also, make sure your tag references the pluginspage. http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3/docs/tags.html

sunil,
I have similar problem. My applets were running fine some time back. Recently they were not running in the IE browser although they were running in the Applet Viewer. I think its probably because I installed JRunner ( which is an application that will run java class files to run automatically when you double click from the filemanager)
Do you think that I need to reinstall IE5 or JDK. which one to do first.
Someone please help
