I've written a simple applet which uses the swing library. It works with the appletviewer and works in Netscape 6.0. I have the 1.3_01 plug-in so it should work with Netscape 4.7 but it doesn't. I get java.lang.Class.Format.Error: class already loaded. The 1.3 demo applets on Sun's plug-in page do work with 4.7. Any ideas about how I might fix this? Thanks!
