I read it some where that...
1. If a
thread owns the object's monitor and calls sleep(), then tit goes to sleeping state w/o releasing the monitor. So no other thread can get it until the first one wakes up releases it.
2. in the other hand , wait, releases the object monitor(if it has) and then goes to waiting state.
I am sure about wait() but want to confirm abour sleep()...
can anybody verify this???
