I have setup application server on Jrun 3.1. I am not using the recommended port range specified. Following are recommended port ranges to be used.
-For web server port range between 8101-8199.
- For EJB class server port 2300-2399
- For EJB Home port 2400-2499 etc.

But now i am facing problem JVM_BIND error very frequently. it is due to port already used by some other process. I am not sure is JRUN uses port other than above given range for its internal purposes. Thats why required port for my created servers hasn't got and its throw JVM_BIND error. can u help me regarding this issue. what should i do to solve my JVM_BIND error. I could not use dynamic port for my server. should i follow the given range by JRUN or i can break it .plzzz give me reason why i can't break this port range if any.
