This forum is for people to post the results of their SCJP testing attempt and to discuss their general feelings after taking the test. If your asking a question about studying for the test then you want to post your question in the certification study forum and if it is a question in general then Java in General (either !!beginner or intermediate) would be more appropriate.

static member variables are transient. While persisting objects the static member variables are not persisted.
