My JApplet is running in AppletViewer fine, but got this "notinited" error when trying to run in Netscape. I have Java Plugin 1.3 installed and the Applet tag is written correctly in html file.
Any idea?

Did you check the Java console in Netscape to see what error message came up? We can't tell what the problem is if you don't give us any information about it. Just saying that it doesn't work isn't very helpful.

In IE you can check the Java Console by choosing Java Console from the View menu... if it doesn't show up there, you can activate it from the Adavanced tab on the Internet Options Dialog, it is under the Microsoft VM heading. ( To get to the Internet Options dialog, choose Internet Options from the View menu. )

All this is from the IE browser installed on my machine at work, which is version 4.0... if you have a different version of IE the procedure may be a little different...
