A guy told me that he once had worked with german C on Siemens computers in the 80ties. So "if" was "wenn". The german programmers did not like it, because they were used to english.
Its not that a big problem, because the vocabulary of the questions of SCPJ are all from technical/programmer domain.
In the LotusDomino certification-exam you can switch between german and english. The problem is, that a lot of the traductions are simply wrong.
So even in that area most people use the english questions. The same problem with traductions of programming books, although people told me it got a little bit better last year.
I have more problems with the preTest of IBM UML certification, because there the vocabulary is often from other domains (for example finance). So for example the
word "mortage" was not totally clear for me.
Anyway you need to understand english to do the job.
