Cannot resolve symbol...

I tried running the program but ut gives a compile time error saying that cannot resolve symbol "IOException"..
Can any one explain me ...I feel that 1 should be the output..

I dont know why am I not able to figure out such things..and this thing really makes me scared for the exam..
By the way, the output should is 0.
Dont you think it should be 1?
