HOW DO I CALL A SIGNED APPLET FROM A HTML PAGE?

By following the procedure for signing applets, I was able to create the following:
1. A jar file containing, or refering to my applet
2. A security certificate
3. A signed applet
What I want to know know is: HOW DO I USE THESE?
i.e. How do I now call my signed applet from a HTML (or preferably ASP)?
Is there a special syntax that I have to follow?
If someone could give me a list of steps as to how I would go about integrating these into a HTML page, I would be most grateful
