So we know that SCJD (developer) exam is harder than SCJP (programmer) exam. Here is my question. in general perspection of job title, is a developer senior than a programmer? and a software engineer senior than a developer? or just meanless at all? thanks

I think it's difficult to rank various job titles because, from place to place and company to company, people that have the same title might do very different things. In one company, a person that only writes code might be called a software developer while, in another company, they might call that person a software engineer. So, how can you really rank these, in general? I think it only makes sense to rank these on a company by company basis.
