Does anyone know if we need to memorize the checked exceptions for the exam?
TIA

Whoa!!! Say that again - No I'm just kidding.
I don't think SUN would be that sadistic .
Anyone correct me if I am wrong.
I expect them to clarify RunTimeException, Exception and Error classes whenever they mention any subclasses of the above mentioned classes.

If they do that I'll get certified in C# instead.

I think you have to memorize that a code-example which may throw a RunTimeException will compile correctly … in that perspective you need to memorize with what kind of exception you are dealing with in a particular piece of code. (so pay attention for ArithmicException, ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException and ClassCastExceptions I think).
