Hi,
I was wondering if any of you have purchased the Sun Mock Programmer exam AND already written the exam? I purchased the practice exam (I like to spend money, heheehheh, just kidding) and am wondering how the real exam questions compared??!

I would super appreciate any responses. Thanx for your time.
Sincerly,
Duncan Allen
P.S. i noted that this same question was also posted by sylvia weller and Rob Ross some time ago, but in sylvia'a case there wasn't a solid response and in Rob's there were a lot but it just seemed to be a discussion of the merits of scoring well on the exam.

The JQ+ exams are $20 and, in my opinion, worth 10x that. I never saw the Sun mock exam (other than the free one), but I can't see how it could be any better than JQ+.
Just my opinion.

Yeah I have gathered that the JQ+ exam seems to be the favourite simulator. I have downloaded the free trial version and it is tricky. It seems to be by far the toughest of the mock exams I have tried.
I would prefer not to buy it however as it kinda hurts my ego

It's a mock test engine, available at http://www.enthuware.com/jqplus and worth the 20 bucks...

Lots of people prefer JQ+ over the Sybex engine. However, JQ+ is tougher that the real exam, so don't worry if you get low scores at the beginning. I agree with the majority of people, I think you can learn much more with JQ+ than with any other (free or commercial) available engines. It's worth trying it out. Give it a shot

I guess I should be more patient..., but has ANYONE purchased the Mock Exam from Sun and written the exam. A recent posting from
Rick Reumann has helped reassure me about the JQ+ exam simulator.
I am just curious as to how similar the real exam is to the Mock exam.
thanks to anyone who replies.

sorry to keep reposting this question Valentin
