I've been using JavaRanch for a while now, and it occurred to me the other day that I don't think there's any way I can come to the site and read my own posts. I find myself browsing through all of the various boards I regularly post on, thinking: "Hmm...I think I added a comment to that thread the other day, I wonder if anyone responded to what I said. I wonder if they asked me for a response in return?"
I'm sure I've dropped several conversations midstream because I'm limited by this. Is there any way to see my post history and jump quickly back into those discussions? (Shouldn't there be, if there isn't? Nearly every other discussion board does this...slashdot, for example.)
Wow. Talk about burying functionality--I actually read that FAQ before I posted this question, and even after reading it again after your response, I still clicked on "My Profile" at the top of every page. Then I gave it one last, very slow read before submitting a snarky response and realized...
You have to view your profile from one of your posts. That profile link and the My Profile link are two totally different animals, eh? This behavior is greater than 90 degrees...that is to say, obtuse.
