hi all,
i'm just learning java with IBM visualage.
.class (applet) and .html files generated by visualage dont work together: when opening .html with internet explorer, i get an empty screen. even though it (the applet) runs well from within visualage (appletwiewer).
can anyone help me?
thank you.

You may get more help on this in the IDE's forum...

I don't know about VisualAge, but I have had problems with other IDE's inserting proprietary elements ( or Swing classes ) into programs if you use the IDE to generate your code... The JVM in the browser only has the general Java classes ( and most only have AWT... no Swing... ). If this is the cause of your problem, you can solve it by making sure that only classes that start with java.* are in the import section of your program.
